This Week In Neo Tokyo:
2025—The Second Chance At Life You Promised Yourself
Cast your mind back to 2022. Back in the deep bear. That deep, dark bear when all hope was lost. You looked at your portfolio value, down 97% from its high only nine months earlier. And now there you were at 10 a.m., drinking wine in bed, ruminating on the crushing reality that you’d absolutely fucked it.
But then, after the long hangover cleared, you picked yourself up and got back in the game. “Okay, well, the time horizon just got a bit longer. 2025 isn’t that far away.” Except it was. It was ages away, and SBF hadn’t even tried to murder what little you had left yet.
Well, here we are now. We’ve arrived at the moment that once felt impossibly distant. This is the year you’ve been waiting for, Citizen—the second chance at life you promised yourself.
If you haven’t already, write down your goals and a strategy for achieving them.
On that very note—this info is for Citizen eyes only—check this announcement out here.
This is how things shaped up with the NT content:
Market Monday - I know I say it a lot, but the bar keeps getting raised. This past Monday played host to one of the most interesting discussions we’ve had. The AI meta is really catching steam now, and our own ButWouldYa has been diving deep into the machinery, finding the best plays out there.
He and Citadel OG hero, Felix Norden, conducted a clinic on the best AI alpha at the moment, emerging projects, and fielded all our questions. I personally got a lot out of this session and thoroughly recommend you give it a listen if you missed it live. Listen back here.
Unfungible x NT: Episode 13 - Indeed, like just about every other sector apart from AI right now, gaming is experiencing a quiet period. However, it’s being kept alive by its faithful, many of whom are organizing web3 gaming events.
That’s what the discussion centered on earlier today—tune in here if you missed it.
Short Scoops
Top Citizen stakers of $BYTES continue to eat well with the news that they will be airdropped $DTRXBT. Conviction rewarded.
🔥 Congrats to @NeoTokyoCode committed stakers, yet another $BYTES related airdrop
🪂 $DTRXBT will be an ai agent token focused on ai-assisted trading
🤝 Thank you @ghost93_x & @DTRXBT

Citizen thecap.eth, founder of Namespace, kindly offered Citizen game builders the chance to have ENS Subnames issued for their players. If this interests you, drop him a DM.
yoooooooo!!
As predicted, Gaming is a killer use case for ENS!
All games NEED to add ENS as a native web3 username/identity system!!

Until next next week, citizens.
NFTs Are Alive Again
Let’s face it, it’s not like they were dead at any point, really.
No. NFT’s, they never die, they just go to sleep.
Many thought that after Pudgy Penguins release their $PENGU token the NFT space will go back to sleep (ie; die). But to the surprise of all the sideline00rs and salty bois, it has been up only by almost all existing parameters.
Some, which are worth mentioning are:
There is more talk about NFTs on social media, as well as search results
The trading volume is up a bit
The floor prices of big market cap and established collection are looking good
Rarity is being respected, since we have seen many grails sell for 100+ ETH this week
Lastly, there is a bit of a whitelist grind meta re-emerging again like in the good old days
In short, all the signs of healthy market conditions are back.
Even if you look into other ecosystems, such as Solana NFTs and Ordinals, you will find bullish things happening. For example, Quantum Cats ran up 40% last week.
quantum cats had already increased 40% on the week, @aixbt_agent changing to a qc (first pfp change) caused this price action

Additionally, its seriously impressive to see many smaller & newly minted collections doing so well, pulling a 50-200% in weekly floor price appreciation:
Now that $PENGU drop is done there are two more big bullish catalysts still lurking around the corner, one being Azuki’s $ANIME coin and the other, a launch of one of the most hyped “NFT consumer” chains in history of web3: Abstract Chain.
But how do you navigate all this and what is the alpha? Well, you have to lock in.
There are no excuses now. 2025 will be a year of generation wealth if you play it right.
My first and easiest advice would be to not fade any pings in Neo Tokyo server, especially the ones coming from the Outreach Division. They have been doing a spectacular job securing some hyped projects.
In short, my (non-financial) advice would be to sign up for as much stuff as possible, because it is clear that we are entering that crazy part of the cycle where the most random stuff gets pumped without much logic behind it.
Be sure to read our newsletter next week, where we dive into Abstract chain alpha 🤝
