It has been another eventful week for CitCap. Firstly, we unexpectedly received a fourth opportunity to invest in Supra! The $300K allocation was swiftly claimed some hours later, bringing the total invested by our citizens to $1,300,550.

Following this, it was announced that Tues 5 Sep (14:00 EST) will be the big day many of us have been waiting for: the Investment Open for Dr. Disrespects gaming studio, Midnight Society. If you still have any funds left after all those Supra opportunities, this is a date you’ll want to mark in your calendar and not be late for.

On that very topic, NT hosted a Twitter Space AMA with Midnight Society in anticipation of the Investment Open. So before you YOLO your funds in, get fully up to speed on what they’re building over there by catching up with the AMA first.

Speaking of which, Ben Gothard provided us with an update for the AMA department this week.

“In an effort to make the AMA division 100% transparent, we are implementing a new age for how AMAs get submitted, voted on, decided, and communicated about.”

The floor prices have been on a consistent downtrend due to recent events in the space, but this week it seems like the vibe in the space has shifted a bit.

Not a lot, of course and I’d be careful if you are considering a premature celebration, but it was nevertheless nice to see mostly green price action across many different crypto ecosystems.

Some collections were even in double digits, with Yuga’s assets leading the charge and Azuki & Pudgy Penguins trailing behind.

In terms of weekly volume, however, things are still not ideal, since we are sitting close to all time lows. 

With that being said, LooksRare took the number 1 spot and flipped Blur.io by a close margin. That's a first. OpenSea, once the top (or rather, the only) marketplace is now in third place.

One of the collections that got a lot more attention on social media than in the previous few weeks is none other than Neo Tokyo itself.

With most PFP projects down bad from their ATH, Neo Tokyo Citizens (our S1 collection) now actually has a higher floor than most NFTs out there. It has been going sideways for months, when everything else around us was dropping harshly in price. Bellow is a comparison of NFT floor prices posted by Firestorm on his Twitter:

Many citizens rejoiced and said they were not surprised, given how many good things are in the works and given many good updates have been coming out of NT lately. So, now it is time for Neo Tokyo to shine. The Citadel Is Watching.
