This Week In Neo Tokyo:
THIS ISN’T EVEN OUR FINAL FORM
This past week marked the second anniversary since S1 Citizens uploaded their consciousness to Neo Tokyo, leaving the old world behind. Despite welcoming so many newcomers recently, the majority of Day 1 minters are still thriving with us in The Citadel; an astonishing statistic when compared to other NFT communities.
That unwavering loyalty and commitment to Neo Tokyo is just one aspect of what has made NT a different beast for all this time. OG Citizens reminisced about their cherished memories, and traumas, from Upload Day here, with this one from Sonder being one of our favorites.
They Keep Coming
Moving from the old timers to the fresh blood, TWINT wouldn’t be TWINT without a quick report on who has joined us now this week, and this segment remains a permanent fixture with no signs of slowing down! Creators of “Off the Grid,” Gunzilla Games, came and made their presence known with a grand entrance to The Citadel, along with gaming platform, Ultra, and none other than Immutable X, just to cap it all off. Just to think, this isn’t even our final form!
I am happy to announce the biggest founders, project and coin in the entire gaming space @Immutable will be joining @NeoTokyoCode as an S1 today (already a member tho)
I am also happy to announce we will be syncing up in ways that greatly benefit both projects.
Expect to see… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

Speaking of IMX, a massive announcement shocked the crypto gaming world last week, with the news that they are partnering up with Polygon and their fellow Neo Tokyo citizen, Merit Circle “to join forces in a united front to take the gaming industry by storm.” Congrats to all involved, read the thread in full here.
Neo Tokyo on the Airwaves
Merit Circle's Mark has become a favorite among citizens in Purgatory Club since joining a few weeks ago. He recently appeared on NT News' Market Monday show, sharing insights about Merit Circle and discussing the latest market happenings with his unique style of communication that we’ve all grown very fond of. You can catch up here.
ICYMI, Shamsi, ZeHI, and ButWouldYa have teamed up to host the weekly NT Degen Digest, where they discuss all the latest news from The Citadel and beyond in a punchy smorgasbord of topics. It’s an extremely fun, relaxed, and sometimes spicy listen, peppered with some expert advice from the three on their chosen areas of expertise. Check out their latest episode just above.
The NT AMA team have been RAMPANT with a plethora of content being churned out since our last issue. Guests have included Jeff Treves of Birthmark, Ian Bentley and Scott Herman of WAGMI Games (donning that crisp NT merch, shoutout to Crasher and the Shibuya Mall team) on Interlinked Episode #5, Katana Inu, Eesee.io, and Farcana.
Additionally, Neo Tokyo was included in a dream team line up of guests on Inspect’s X Space alongside names such as Brycent, Shrapnel, and Wale. Will Wale start including us on his lists now? Stranger things have happened!
Circling back to the Neo Tokyo News team, we held an emergency X Space earlier with the Guardians of the Citadel, Metro and Danor of Mint Defense, amidst the huge hack that took place. If you’re just finding out about what transpired and have questions, it’s likely they were answered right here. Thanks to both for jumping on at such short notice!
If that wasn’t enough, Citizen Lead, Fauve, has sat down with some representatives of Citizen projects to get some updates in the NT Bag Holders Review. Featured speakers are Ben of SwapStreet, Jax of Naffles, and Gengar of NFA. This recording is for Citizen ears only.
That’s the Standard Now
We hear that the LA Chapter of Neo Tokyo had a meet-up this past week, organized by OG Elite, Xenophan. By the looks of things, a great time was had by all with minimal hangovers! The irl-meetups forum is where you can find citizens in your local area and arrange a friendly gathering of your own.
Lastly, another Founder's Roundtable hosted by Becker is scheduled for tomorrow, so set your reminders. Joining us for this one will be the founders of Star Atlas, Myria, and Vendetta Games. A solid line-up, but again, this isn’t even our final form.
Until next week, citizens.

December $BYTES Update
Electricity pulsates through the streets of Neo Tokyo as the fibres of our cyber empire continue to be woven together. The community, much like our BYTES token, is buzzing with energy, invigorated by the array of new and evolving projects taking shape within our citadel, their development casting a misty GREEN afterglow on the horizon.
As our digital fortress expands, citizens who are plugged-in recognize that the excitement is justified, witnessing first-hand the growing value of our ecosystem materializing.
Following the latest update, the BYTES token successfully transformed the $6.53 resistance level into a support point, propelling it into uncharted territory. It tested its upper limits, reaching a peak at $20. We're currently positioned above the mean price of $13, where I anticipate a tug-of-war between bulls and bears as they jostle for market control.
December monthly Pivots in USD:
Support 1: $5.30
Central Pivot 🧲: $13
Resistance 1: $24.08
Resistance 2: $31.80
Observers of previous BYTES updates likely weren't caught off guard by the token's rapid price surge (an impressive 745% gain in November). The month began with a relatively shallow liquidity depth of $8,800 for each 3% price movement, facilitating quick price changes without substantial capital. Now, BYTES has achieved a much sturdier depth of $30,200 for every 3% move, a significant rise from it's all-time low of $1,900 not so long ago.
In November, BYTES experienced record-breaking volume of over $17 million. This surge in trading activity coincided with a dramatic increase in token holders, rising from 2,000 to nearly 5,000. The total supply of BYTES has also grown significantly, reaching 2.8m, with 60% of these tokens staked. This brings the market cap of BYTES to a healthy $40 million.
Considering the total number of holders, it's fair to say that BYTES is predominantly utilized by members within our ecosystem. However, increasing interest from external speculators signals significant growth potential. This suggests that new demand drivers, extending beyond our existing user base, could emerge. Rest assured, the masters of crypto gaming are tirelessly working and gearing up for the next thrilling advancements in the field.
These pivot charts are not meant to predict anything but they can be used to assess risks and opportunities in the market. Catalysts can affect the price of BYTES in unexpected ways.

The Kingdom by RPG Labs
Greetings!
The mint day for The Kingdom is fast approaching. A few months ago we did a deep dive on their projects. You can find that article here.
Since then, they have been consistently building.
For those of you who are not familiar with The Kingdom and would rather settle on a short “tl;dr,” here is a brief overview of the features they are building towards:
Fantasy Social-RPG: The Kingdom offers a place where you can dive into a rich, interactive world that goes beyond traditional gaming experiences.
Chain-Agnostic: The freedom to operate across multiple blockchains, breaking down barriers in the web3 space.
AI-Powered Living Story: A dynamic, community-led narrative that evolves based on player choices.
Modular NFT Technology: Next-gen NFT functionality that adds layers of utility and engagement.
On-Chain Reputation System: A reputation that evolves with your web3 journey, adding another layer of social dynamics to the ecosystem.
In this article I will share all the exciting updates they have been working on in the meantime and discuss what more they have in store going forward. So let's get right into it.
A NEW QUEST SYSTEM was created and there are a lot of new quests already added for you to play. With the release, new quest system features were added such as adjusted quest window design and a new leaderboard and rewards distribution for the top 50 participants. Upon release, over 200 quests were submitted in a single day. Additionally, you can now easily sort through project-specific quests, as well as check quest descriptions and also get Reward Points within the website interface.
Another important update they did was to remove the need to check Discord in order to complete quests. Now all the information is easily accessible directly through their application.
EVENTS AND COMMUNITY EXPANSION
Besides the implementation of quests and the leaderboard, the community stayed active through participation in the Discord and on social media. They hosted a game night with over 100 unique gamers, a poker tournament for the community sponsored by Virtue Poker, and Gods Unchained tournament. There were over 1500 accounts created on the website in Q4. Their Twitter grew by 9x and Discord by 4x.
There are tons of other updates and activity going on in The Kingdom. To check them out and dive deeper take a look at their discord announcements channel.
NEW PARTNERSHIPS
As the game and the NFT collection mint approaches, the Kindom’s family is also expanding. Since the genesis mint will be on Polygon, they secured PolygonLabs, as well as MagicEden as partners.
Launching the NFTs on the Polygon means they will be able to future-proof the collection with the latest technologies and give players more control over their assets, especially after integrating RMRK’s modular NFT technology into the Avatars.
Additionally, they partnered up with Generative Dungeon - a collection of playable, procedurally-generated and fully editable NFT dungeons. And of course, a flagship partnership with Neo Tokyo itself, which was announced on 17th September.
So what's next for The Kingdom?
UPCOMING MINT & FOUNDERS CHESTS
Their genesis collection of 999 NFTs called “The Founders Chests” will go live on 18th December. The allocation is almost entirely filled with whitelists. After that, on the next day there will be an Avatar mint for $19.99. Read more about the prices and utility in their Discord.
In their Discord you can also see prototypes of some of the systems that will be implemented once the game goes live such as the map traversal, which will show how the user’s piece moves across the map, selecting paths and nods. Secondly, the random encounters will show how a user can use a system of inputs to curate random encounters. Additionally, the dialogue system helps give it that classic RPG feeling.
After that, your avatar will be a part of a larger game, which will be land-based and is coming out sometime in 2024.
Also, the upcoming days and weeks are going to be action-packed. Watch out for their upcoming AMAs and Twitter spaces:
An AMA with NFT Hub on Thursday
The Kingdom Mega Space with Neo Tokyo, ChronoForge, and more on Friday
Virtue Poker Night on Friday
Burn Ghost Games x The Kingdom Game Night on Saturday
Ultiverse AMA on Monday
For more information, check out a list of socials to connect with them.
See you in the Kingdom.
