This Week In Neo Tokyo:
Hearing Things Whispers

Hearing Things Whispers

And. Here. We. GO!

Neo Tokyo has officially opened registration for the 5th Hand Competition, and you know what that means—prepare for chaos. Kiss goodbye to your free time, your social life, and maybe even what’s left of your mental health. It’s over.

In typical Neo Tokyo fashion, the details are as cryptic as ever—will riddles and gaming feature heavily again? Or will we face something entirely new? Only time will tell.

The Whisperer, this year’s elusive figurehead, has already started dropping clues. The first Elite Code was uncovered by the sharp-eyed Citizen @i2eDeFiNe:

And don’t forget—the zsxxbecklers (that’s scammers and bots for the newcomers) will be out in force in the X Replies. Keep your guard up.

Time’s ticking. The Whisperer is watching. Are you ready?

Rengō Boosts Citadel’s Power

Neo Tokyo just got a serious upgrade—Rengō has officially joined as a service partner, further expanding our Citadel’s arsenal of game-changing resources.

Led by Citizens Chr0nicle, Ben Gothard, sdc, and Slime, Rengō is key in helping projects navigate the often chaotic world of Web3 fundraising. Whether it’s GameFi, AI, or DeFi, they’ve got you covered.

Having operated under the radar until now, Rengō has already built an impressive network of over 100 investment firms and raised millions for top-tier projects. Now stepping into the spotlight, they’re ready to connect innovators with the investors who can propel their ideas forward.

This new partnership strengthens Neo Tokyo’s growing suite of services, which already includes Shibuya Mall and the Agency. And with Rengō in the mix, the Citadel is better positioned to deliver more value to the Neo Tokyo Treasury, Citizens, and the $BYTES ecosystem.

Follow them on X and visit Rengō’s official website to learn more and be part of what’s coming next!

Seedworld Set to Feature on Market Monday

Neo Tokyo News is all set to host Seedworld, the upcoming free-to-play, user-generated content gaming platform, on the next episode of Market Monday.

And the timing couldn’t be better, with their TGE happening just two days later, on the 23rd.

Trust us, this is one you won’t want to miss—set your reminders now!

This is how things shaped up with the NT content:

Market Monday – We were joined by special guests FAENORA Series, who are building a fun pixel art roguelite tactics RPG. They gave us a dive into what they’ve been building, along with a special announcement. Other topics included Off the Grid, whether we’re in a true bull run or if there’s still reason for caution, and, sadly, the ongoing airdrop fiasco continues relentlessly.

Interlinked #52 – Ben, Nick, and Jared tackle a range of trending topics in this episode, covering everything from Off the Grid to a look at Trump and Harris’s stances on crypto. They also take a deep dive into the memecoin frenzy, exploring what’s fueling the mania.

Tales From the Crypt: Goats, Cabals, and Medusa Herself - This Week Hit Different

Lurking in The Crypt this week just Hit Different. Electric energy pulsed as callers and degens from all classes of The Citadel descended on fast paced SOL charts.

The GOAT

On Saturday, ButWouldYa reposted the Video of Marc Andreessen discussing why he funded an AI bot with 50K. This AI bot, @truth_terminal, had requested funding for its business plan and Marc decided it would be an interesting experiment. So the fine-tuned OPUS LLM trained upon data from Reddit and 4chan created a meme coin and $GOAT was born.

The Market Cap at the time of ButWouldYa’s repost was hovering around 22M.

On Sunday, ButWouldYa pointed eyes on Goatseus in The Crypt. The Market Cap was hovering around 110M, but dipped shortly after to about 59M and several Crypt members got a juicy entry. $GOAT quickly took CT by storm and the lore behind @truth_terminal was the talk of the town. GOAT now sits comfortably at around 300M MC. Apparently the bot has even received tokens airdropped by hopeful projects and the question remains, will it use the newfound wealth for good or evil…

AI Bot Meta

The Self Appointed Chancellor of Neo Tokyo called MEDUSA on Monday. Betting on the AI bot meta, Phoenixx said, and I quote “I did no research, was pure ape.” He posted in the Crypt when the market cap was hovering around 2.9M. By the end of the day it had run up to 15M.

With committed holders like @suganarium, Medusa might have legs. @brokenEmoAI is the account behind the coin, and it has an equally entertaining flow of comments for those interested in reading the thoughts of a bot.

Terminal of Token was also on the radar to follow the bot meta, but overzealous traders made the mistake of calling in Flower to play and the coin never recovered. Even Mr. Builder was inside The Crypt, clutching his pearls. The following day Phoenixx reported on Medusa saying, “I called something on Solana that went up. Understand the gravity of this situation. This is very serious, Golden Bull is Here.”

The Cabal Hits Different

While Agent Z was able to trade Terminal swings for a win, it was his $HD call that just Hit Different. “These dirty little degenerates underestimate my power to shift and become one,” Agent Z noted. On Tuesday Z called Hits Different, and his battle with the Cabal started to unfold before our eyes.

He bought in around 5K MC and made the call in The Crypt shortly after. It made a run up to about 270K MC that day, but even more interesting was the swing trading that followed. Dashing between the community chat and discord, Z kept citizens informed of incoming pumps from what seemed to be cabal manipulation of the charts. Monitoring chats on both ends, Z managed to beat the dumps and pumps consistently for 15 hours straight.

Truth Terminal’s Girlfriend

ButWouldYa returned Wednesday evening with the AI bot’s girlfriend, Sydney, at his side. While “She’s a real bitch,” according to Terminal, Sydney managed to give citizen’s 5-10Xs by Thursday morning.

With each day, it’s clear that The Crypt remains a hotbed of opportunity and excitement. What’s next for the dirty degens down in The Crypt?
