The battle for 200K is over! Someday, we’ll be saying that about Bitcoin, but for now, it's Neo Tokyo’s moment to celebrate this remarkable milestone.

As the post below reminds us, a lot has happened since September 2021—good price, bad price, and plenty of people and projects from the Class of ’21 who simply didn’t have the minerals to survive what was thrown at them.

Sadly, many more will fall. We will NOT remember them.

This 200K is a testament to the spirit of The Citadel, the Citizens who reside in it, and the Meatbags we’ve grown so fond of. Here’s to the next 200K and MUCH MORE.

A quick note before you do: you will need a bit more than just ETH for gas on Base (the greatest chain ever created, a land of wealthy and free people where founders sell shame you) 

They take a small donation before giving you the tokens, no doubt learning much from LayerZero. But, anyway, it's “free” money, right? And you got a lot of it, too - if you are an influencer with a wide reach on Twitter, that is.

See, apparently every “smart follower” brought you free money on this one, and so did every “YAP” you earned. (I earned a total of zero (0) by the way, because I’m not trending in the twitter feed, I am just a low status nobody.)

The past few weeks in web3 have been plagued with grifters and rugpulls and scammers “max extracting,” so it's no wonder that in this era of crypto it seems like everything just kinda sucks these days. But the truth is we are all so broke that if someone sends you $50 for just having a twitter, you take them.

And so we did. And many sold, and bragged about it on twitter. At least this one came rather quickly, and the Kaito team didn't milk us for the next 2 years on this airdrop, like some (every?) other projects do. Bullish.

The immediate results of the airdrop are that many people are reporting the CT timeline to be much quieter and cleaner. Though to be fair this could also be attributed to the fact that all Sol influencers went into underground hiding after Argentina blew up.

The $KAITO chart, for all its worth, looks quite healthy, I must admit that:

It certainly isn't a pump & dump fest like some (every?) other coins after they launch during these current market conditions. Currently the coin is sitting comfortably around 500m market cap.

So, apparently the price itself was not affected that much by the wave of FUD that the Kaito project received right after launching. The FUD mainly had to do with tokenomics, and perhaps rightfully so.

Bold sketched an exaggeration of their distribution, which in reality isn't far off from the real thing. Let’s compare the two of them below.

As we can clearly see, a very large and quite SIGNIFICANT chunks of token allocation are going to vaguely defined (at best) groups of people that could easily be team members. But “numba still going up” so it's probably bullish? Team & insiders not selling yet?

So, is $KAITO a buy here? Idk, I am bad at giving “financial advice.” Truthfully I have no idea. I still don't know what the project is about or what they are trying to build. I don't think anyone really does, people just like getting paid for YAPing.

If I got a significant stimulus check from this, I would consider taking some risk off the table - the markets still look bad overall after all the negativity from the past few weeks.
