Okay, I admit…

I may have treated ETH a bit too harshly in my previous article by speculating that it will be the death of us, causing a bear market.

Since then, we swept all time highs. 🔥 (Congrats to those celebrating.) 🎊

Now, BTC is taking a breather (down a couple % from recent ATH), and a marvellous, rarely seen thing is unfolding:

ETH is not nuking down even harder.

Usually when BTC dipped 3%, ETH would plummet for 10%+. It was so sad to watch it melt for a higher % ratio than BTC every time there was a slight dip. And not just once or twice, but consistently for over 2 years.

Little by little, these dips ate away a hefty chunk of its entire market cap. It was so bad, that it led many to believe ETH is just a shitcoin and that Vitalik has abandoned us.

The ETH/BTC chart has been in consistent decline all these years.

Some time ago, many people pointed out that each time that BTC hits 100k, ETH’s price got worse and worse.

And so, this ugly trend continued, allowing BTC dominance to rise, and alts to not perform as they should.

But now, as of late, we can rejoice in some stability and (actual) gains. It’s truly a new and refreshing trend. Many people speculate on the upcoming altseason as well, and yes, if it were to happen, ETH needs to show prolonged strength, not just a short lived relief rally.

It is refreshing to see ETH being the best performing major coin on both the monthly and weekly timeframes.

In terms of the broader altseason, it's all just talk and speculation at this point.

Many influencers on social media are screaming how it already began, but for the top 10 coins at least, it's not actually objectively happening. But hey, at least we’re not going lower, right?

Even NFTs, surprisingly, have not dipped too much on this recent ETH rally, which could indicate that we are about to get not only and altseason, but an NFT season as well.

For many of us degenerate and overexposed gamblers this would be an ideal scenario.

Believe.

Someone shill Bryan Johnson, tell him the situation has been resolved.

That aside, news from The Citadel has been dominated by the announcement that Avalanche and Neo Tokyo have formed a strategic alignment designed to give Citizens direct access to the Avalanche ecosystem, tools, capital, and opportunities.

This partnership offers Citizens streamlined access to Avalanche's resources, including:

• Grant programs for builders

• Early project access for investors

• Capital support from Rengō and ByteStreet

Additionally, gamers will enjoy featured Avalanche titles, while projects will gain exposure through Neo Tokyo’s multiple media platforms, such as Market Monday, Interlinked, AMAs, and NT Plays Friday Gaming.

There was a Space to celebrate this triumphant alliance, but it rugged (we call that the Neo Tokyo News experience) and has been postponed until a later date. Keep an eye out for future announcements on that front.

Until then, just look at these numbers. Wew.
