Those were Becker's words of warning this past Friday, and they were heeded by many with a sudden influx of sales on S1 and S2 Citizens, pushing our floor prices to 12.5 and 2.5 ETH respectively over the weekend.

With the floodgates now open, we've welcomed even more new citizens into The Citadel this past week. Becker was right all that time ago when he expressed his desire to cultivate an ethos that attracts the right sort of character, and the standard of introductions in Purg and Angie’s Pub is a testament to that coming to pass. We, as Citizens, can take a lot credit for helping that along too.

Noteworthy new additions freshly announced include heavyweights in the Web3 gaming space: Loopifyy of Treeverse, Tanner of Altura, and Jamie Thomson of Vulcan Forged. These legends all join the company of the founders of Seedify, WAGMI Games, and Galileo Protocol who have all received warm receptions.

With the crypto gaming scene heating up, we now have some new forum channels for the NT server that Firestorm says, "Will serve as the clear place for Web3 gaming discussion in The Citadel."

The first is "Gaming Research," quite self-explanatory, a place to post your research on games. The other is "Gaming Tokens," for tokenomic reviews. The third is “Chain Ecosystems,” for those who have info to drop there.

One man, held in high regard within The Citadel for his meticulous research, burst back through the doors of Purgatory Club last weekend! AGC, the Co-Founder of SPECTRE and the inaugural winner of the NT Elite riddles, has been generously sharing his expert insights on tokenomics. Don't miss his analyses on Shrapnel, Illuvium, and $GFAL.

But that's not all for the triumphant returns; our beloved podcast, Interlinked, is making a grand return to the airwaves, covering all things Web3, NFTs, and gaming. Catch the first episode, hosted by our AMA Division Leads and featuring special guest Ellio, right here.

The trifecta of returns was made complete during the Neo Tokyo News' Market Monday Space last night, with the long-awaited return of the silky smooth "Voice of the Citadel," Shamsi, as a co-host! We covered topics such as the latest NT developments, the wider macro picture, and Solana and Ordinals making their moves. You can listen here if you missed it.

CitCap held their Shrapnel Nodes Investment opportunity yesterday, and true to form in Neo Tokyo, it sold out in seconds. There was such high demand, in fact, that more investment was taken than was available due to an issue with the platform. If you were one of those who invested, keep an eye on the citcap-announcements channel for an update as to whether your investment stands or if you will be receiving a refund.

This will, of course, fall on blind eyes, but a timely reminder not to FOMO into NT or CitCap assets based purely on rumor or speculation. Yes, that is what we do and we like it! But, all the same, please try to refrain from putting your schlong in the pencil sharpener. (Those who watched Becker’s latest video will understand that reference.)

The streets of Neo Tokyo are buzzing once again as the BYTES price leads our grand rising. Euphoria has swept our server as the inevitable renewal of interest in crypto gaming has returned. 

As mentioned in last month's update, those selling or waiting on the sideline may miss the potential for exponential gains. We now see how explosive the BYTES movement can be thanks to the limited supply of BYTES on the market.

Volume has significantly increased, with over $2 million traded in the last week. We haven’t seen anything like this since the launch of our token years ago. Liquidity depth has also seen a notable shift, now requiring $8,800 for a 3% move, a substantial increase from last month's $1,900 for the same percentage change.

The ecosystem is expanding steadily. The total supply has hit 2.33 million, with the holder count reaching 2,504. Out of the wallets holding BYTES, 670 have no citizens and more than 100 BYTES. This growing base of holders suggests that we're still in the early stages, with substantial potential for increased adoption given the right demand drivers

For staked citizens, it is estimated BYTES are yielding .47 BYTES per point for S1’s and .09 BYTES per point for S2s.

Bulls aim to transform the current resistance level at $6.53 into a support line as new incentives to buy are surely under way. 

These pivot charts are not meant to predict anything but they can be used to assess risks and opportunities in the market. Catalysts can affect the price of BYTES in unexpected ways.

Here are a few of my thoughts on how to navigate the upcoming bull market. I’m not saying we are in it right now, no. Although, it is undeniable that the markets are heating up a lot these days and there is alpha being shared. Many people I talk to are making 2-5x’s with various plays on various different blockchains.

However, this is not “it” yet. I personally believe there is too much euphoria right now and the likely short term outcome will be a cool off period before the halving. 

Still, the time is right to get organized and be prepared. This is not financial advice. This article is loosely inspired by some old Becker tweet that you totally missed, and other similar ones that are popping off recently. These are just a few tips I would give my old self if I could:

1. Learn and Understand the Basics.

In crypto and NFTs, there is a certain threshold of knowledge you need to have to comfortably navigate the space. For example:

• how to use a Metamask wallet

• what is a liquidity pool?

• understanding different chains & projects

• popular NFT marketplaces

• differences between CEX and DEX

• basics of risk management and diversification

• KYC and taxes

• how to avoid popular scams

There’s TONS of quality material on all of these topics out there.

2. Learn and Understand More Than the Average Person. 

Educate yourself. Do the extra work. There is money waiting for you in areas others are NOT willing to do research on. The bulk of the money is made by being first when a new narrative is developing. Which leads us to point 3…

3. Get involved.

Participate. Pick a community that has good alpha and that you like being involved in. Then chat with others, join voice channels, get into presales, get whitelists for quality mints, leverage your network and connections, create art, write stories, share alpha plays, lift each other up!

Stay in touch with others and you will not get left behind. Spoiler: Neo Tokyo is already a good place to be in. 

4. Find Your Niche.

Now that you have a broad understanding of the web3 landscape, it is time to specialize in an area you are most comfortable in. Everyone has something to offer and can excel if they put in the work, and you can too.

There are a lot of different sectors in the web3 space you can explore and master. DeFi, Crypto Gaming, NFTs, L2 research and airdrop farming. Maybe trading, memecoins, or seed investments are more your thing. All of these can be immensely profitable if you are ahead of the curve. 

4. Preserve Your Assets.

Okay so you’ve made some significant life changing money? Good, now you want to keep it. Preserving capital is equally important as making it. Learn to sell! Do not get emotionally attached to your pretty pictures or other (fungible) tokens. Furthermore, secure your assets; research what Mint Defense is and get a hardware wallet.
